So you’ve probably heard me talking about this new band forming on the island of Maui. This is an awesome new and upcoming band still in the works.
The Band Members are: Elaine Ryan, Sebrina Barron, Shawn Michael, and Clive Tucker
Elaine Ryan, Sebrina Barron, Shawn Michael, and Clive Tucker have teamed up for this extensive project. This group have named themselves as The Sirens and can be seen performing live at various venues around the island.
Elaine Ryan. Vocalist. Main Vocals/Backup Vocals/Guitar Player
Ryan’s main vocal range is in the alto/tenor and can even go soprano. Ryan is awesome in the soul genre. She has also proven at events that she can hit other genres such as pop rock, some rap, R&B, and even rock. She plays the guitar and has also been seen playing the tambourine, maracas, and other misc. instruments at events.
Sebrina Barron. Vocalist. Main Vocals/Backup Vocals/Guitar Player
Barron’s main vocal range is an alto and can so soprano. Barron has proven that she is strong in the Pop Rock genre. She has also shown that she can perform classic rock, some hip-hop/rap, some R&B, and even reggae. Barron also plays the guitar and has also like Ryan been seen playing the tambourine, maracas, and other misc. instruments at events.
Shawn Michael. String Instrumentalist. Bass Guitar/Ukulele/Guitar
Shawn Michael is a very talented strong string instrumentalist on the island. Michael’s instrument of choice is the bass guitar, but on a number of occasions has been seen playing the ukuleles, standard guitars, and electric guitars. Michael’s style of playing is smooth going and really knows how to blend his strums and not over power other instrumentalists or the vocalists at gigs.
Clive Tucker. Percussionist. Drums/Congas
Clive Tucker is a very talented percussionist on the island of Maui. He can play on the standard sets of drums, but can also play the congas as seen at events. He has an natural talent where you can hear the richness of the drums, but not over power and fade out the vocalists and other instruments at gigs.
You can see Elaine and Sebrina performing every Saturday at Mulligans on the Blue in South Maui or at other venues around South Maui. Believe me, once you hear these two talents mix their vocal ranges together, you will be blown away at how well these two match up with each other. They sound awesome acoustic style and when they perform together or with Michael and Tucker in the background.
